Caring Instructions
Every Kaarme piece is designed with love and intention and with the right care, it can remain a cherished part of your collection for years to come.
General Care
• Store jewellery in a dry, cool place, out of direct sunlight. Preferably in an airtight container or jewellery pouch to minimise exposure to air and moisture.
• Avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions and chemicals, as these can affect the appearance and durability of your piece. Harsh chemicals and salt will damage your jewellery over time.
• Remove jewellery before showering, swimming and exercising to prevent unnecessary wear.
Avoid banging or rubbing your pieces against other jewellery or surfaces
• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove any buildup from daily wear.
Please note, all metal oxidizes over time and will require maintenance

Handcrafted - Gold Filled
Gold-filled jewellery is made by bonding a layer of gold onto a base metal core. It offers the look and durability of solid gold at a more affordable price. To ensure longevity in your Kaarme piece please follow the below instructions in addition to the instructions listed in "general care."
• Avoid exposure to water, sweat and chemicals, which can cause tarnishing over time.
• Store separately from other jewellery to prevent scratches.
• Clean using a soft, dry cloth—avoid harsh chemicals or polishing agents as these can wear down the gold layer.

Handcrafted - Sterling Silver
Sterling silver naturally oxidises over time and requires proper care to maintain its appearance. Please follow the below instructions in addition to those listed under "General Care"
• Store in an anti-tarnish pouch or airtight container when not in use to reduce oxidation.
• Avoid water, abrasives and chemical exposure.
• Use a soft polishing cloth made for silver to restore shine.
