STERLING SILVER JEWELLERY: Sterling silver naturally oxidises over time and requires proper care to maintain its appearance.

Please follow the instructions below in addition to those listed under “General Care”

  • Store in an anti-tarnish pouch or airtight container when not in use to reduce oxidation.
  • Avoid water and chemical exposure.
  • Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid silver polish unless necessary, and never use abrasive materials.

Please note: orders placed prior to 1 June 2025 included both sterling silver and silver-plated components.

Necklace Length

16 INCHES (standard), unless otherwise specified. All necklace lengths come with a 1 INCH extender. Please refer to our 'Necklace Length Guide' to find your perfect fit prior to purchase.

Care Instructions

To maintain your Kaarme piece’s beauty and longevity, store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, avoid exposure to chemicals, perfumes, and beauty products, and gently clean with a soft, dry cloth. As some of our items are made from natural materials and are porous, we suggest avoiding water exposure.

Every Kaarme piece is designed with love and intention and with the right care, it can remain a cherished part of your collection for years to come.

GENERAL CARE:

• Store jewellery in a dry, cool place, out of direct sunlight. Preferably in an airtight container or jewellery pouch to minimise exposure to air and moisture.

• Avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions and chemicals, as these can affect the appearance and durability of your piece. Harsh chemicals and salt will damage your jewellery over time.

• Remove jewellery before showering, swimming and exercising to prevent unnecessary wear.

  • Avoid banging or rubbing your pieces against other jewellery or surfaces

•  Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove any buildup from daily wear.

  • Please note, all metal oxidises over time and will require maintenace

Shipping Information

Each piece is crafted with care and may take up to 3 weeks to be dispatched unless stated otherwise in the product description. If your order includes a pre-order item, please refer to its dispatch timeframe in the product description. Orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items will be shipped together on the pre-order dispatch date.

  • Yes, we do! We currently ship to New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the USA.

  • For our gold jewellery, we primarily use gold-filled and brass.
    For our silver jewellery, we use both sterling silver and plated silver.

  • We aim to get your order to you ASAP - because no one likes waiting! However, due to the nature and intention behind Kaarme, it can take up to 3 weeks for your piece to be dispatched.

  • Our priority is for you to love your pieces! We offer exchanges for non-personalised pieces within 2 weeks and provide refunds on a case-by-case basis.
